3h Mostly Wes Bos’s React for Beginners. Tonight we covered local storage and I actually coded up the firebase piece. That all went fairly smoothly. I’m on the order deletion piece as we speak and it’s fighting me a little bit.

We had to pass a few functions down from the main App.js into children of children as a way to keep state in App.js, and it’s really clicking with me. It’s still not a super easy way to have to code, but it makes sense how to do it. That feels pretty good.

On the other hand, when the actual functions get down to where they need to go I have been stumped a few times about how to properly call them (and perhaps bind them?) but I’m hopeful that will come in due time.
