4.11 mo’ ActiveRecord

9h today it felt like I knew more than yesterday, and that’s 2 days in a row. I’ll take that as a win! We did a lot of ActiveRecord review today – we did a morning marathon where we group coded and all took turns doing little pieces, and then in the afternoon I redid the same assignment in order to see if I had all of the little pieces stored in my mind correctly. It is starting to make more sense, and it is starting to be less awkward feeling. I’m still shaky on validations and testing, but it’s only been 3 days of activeRecord, so I can’t really be that hard on myself. Tomorrow is the system check and I have NO idea how confident to be. They had us learn factorybot and shoulda and SQL and postgres and I have no idea how much of it is going to be on the test. The one thing I can hold on to is that I have learned a lot this week. That’s a good thing by itself, and as long as I keep doing that I will be a developer some day!

Tell me what you think.
