4.5h 4h of FCC react tutorials and then copying my handwritten notes over to txt file, and half an hour of setting up a react dev environment per this tutorial. It was really easy. I picked the easiest way admittedly, but still. I was imagining far more steps.

I finished the FreeCodeCamp section on react tonight, and I’m feeling pretty good about it. It doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of content, and I’ll be happy to play around with react now.  Maybe I can build something of substance. I hope to pick the next study source (ie what tutorial I will be working on) tonight, so tomorrow I know where to start. It may actually be coding up some sites! I’m also tempted by some of the tutorials that talk about building x number of sites. Strangely I feel like I hated the 30daysofjavascript challenge because I felt like it was being spoon fed to me. I’m not sure if I will actually like those ‘x number of sites’ tutorials. Only time will tell.
